This handsome boy is Barkley. He was adopted at 5 months of age and lived with the family for 2 months. During that time he learned some commands and was very affectionate with the family. The family have asked us to find another home as Barkley displayed prey drive instincts when visitors came to the house - stalking them and occasionally trying to nip. Anyone who has had border collies or terriers will recognise that behaviour. However, as the family had lots of children visiting they felt it was wiser for him to go to a more experienced home who could work with this issue. Also he had been going to work with mum but she was reluctant to continue to take him in case he displayed this behaviour with her colleagues - so Barkley ended up being left for longer periods. Barkley is brilliant with other dogs and also with cats. He is a playful, active dog who would benefit from an active family who would give him plenty of exercise and take him to training classes. Barkley is still a young boy and having to live in kennels. He needs your help.
