Calista
For adoption: Calista-12 months old-medium/large
Do we have any sighthound lovers on here? This is Calista who was found very skinny and limping. She has been looked at by a surgeon, had X-rays, and the limp is caused by an old break in the leg. Her prognosis is good. The surgeon says she just needs to walk more to strengthen her leg muscles. She is currently in foster with an older lady who is unable to walk her very much. Would you like to offer this sweet young lurcher a forever home? Calista has such a lovely nature, she just oozes love. Believe it or not she gets on well with the cats she is living with, very friendly also with people and other dogs.

Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
