Fawn and his siblings were abandoned in the yard of a factory next to the shelter. The pups were very scared and took a while to catch. Our team at the shelter have worked hard to socialise them and now although they are still a little shy there has been a significant improvement and their playful nature is showing through. They will continue to work and play with them until they are adopted. Once in a family situation they should grow into confident, friendly dogs.
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family.
