Jana is a beautiful, small and compact Boston Terrier (or possibly a Boston Terrier mix) who narrowly avoided ending up in the public shelter. Sadly, her owner had to leave the country unexpectedly and was unable to keep her, so we stepped in to give Jana the second chance she deserves.
True to her breed, Jana is incredibly affectionate, loves being with people and has a fun, lively personality. She is energetic and enjoys keeping active, so she will need regular exercise, plenty of attention and mental stimulation to keep her happy.
Jana currently lives indoors with lots of other dogs and cats and gets along well with them all. She would be equally happy as an only dog, where she can enjoy all the attention, or with a friendly canine companion.
We would ideally like Jana to be adopted by someone who has experience with Boston Terriers or similar breeds and understands their active, intelligent and people-focused nature.

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family.
