Lulu

Lulu was found by one of our rescuers at the side of a busy road. It’s a wonder she wasn’t knocked down as Lulu is totally blind. The vet said her eyes looked to have been removed some time ago even perhaps when she was a puppy. The ‘holes’ were continually becoming infected. Abldr raised the money for her to have the operation to have them sewn. At the same time a ‘fatty’ lump (benign) was removed from her front left leg. She is in foster in Romania. A home with experience of a blind dog or a quiet home with not too much going on to frighten or make it difficult for her preferred. She is currently living with dogs and cats. She sometimes tries to chase the cats in the house but couldn’t catch them. She doesn’t bother about cats outside.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
