Paloma
ADOPTED BY FRENCH RESCUE
We found Paloma in a field near Arad city; it was a bit of a task to catch her as she was very scared. Fortunately there was an old building in the field and our rescuers were able to catch her in there and take her to safety. She is very sweet and playful with the other dogs. She is a little shy with people at first but soon warms up and likes to play. She is 30 cm high at 3 months old so probably will grow to be medium/large. Cat testing was inconclusive, she just stood in one spot all the time that she was in the living room where the cats are. We’ll try again when she is a little older. It is possible that Paloma may have some Romanian shepherd in her back ground so we welcome applications from families with previous experience of similar/guarding breeds.

Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs please fill in an Adoption Application and our dog co-ordinator will be in contact with you very shortly to discuss your request. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 24 hours and certainly within 48 hours.
