Daisy

Do you love large dogs?

Meet Daisy who is as loving as she is big. Her favourite activity: belly rubs. She has been known to lie down half way through a walk for a belly rub. It is fair to say, she is a bit lazy, and prefers curling up with her  human to walking long walks. Friendly with any person, she will greet them by asking for and accepting the obligatory belly rub! She loves to receive affection. She barks at cats but otherwise she is calm and peaceful and gets on well with both male and female dogs.

After being abandoned, together with her sister, in a local village, our rescuers were asked  to take them in. Sadly, her sister was sick with cancer and died shortly after being rescued. We would love to find Daisy a new loving forever family.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
