Amos

🐶 Meet Amos

Amos was recently adopted by a family in the UK, but sadly he has returned to our rescue. This decision was made due to circumstances beyond his control — through no fault of his own.

He is a very sweet, friendly boy who is still learning about the world around him. Amos can be a little mouthy during play, but this is purely playful behaviour and he shows absolutely zero aggression. With time, patience, and consistent guidance, this is something that can be easily managed.

Amos can live with children aged 8 and above and loves the company of other dogs, especially those the same size as him or smaller. He is incredibly people-oriented and absolutely adores a cosy snooze. His gentle, affectionate nature means he could thrive in many different types of loving homes.

Amos is hoping for his second chance. Could you be the one to offer him the forever home he deserves?

Why Amos Would Make a Wonderful Companion:
• 💔 Returned through no fault of his own — ready for a loving forever home
• 🐕 Sweet, friendly, and full of playful energy
• 🧸 Mouthy during play, but never aggressive
• 👨‍👩‍👧 Perfect for families with children aged 8+
• 🐾 Enjoys the company of other dogs, especially similar-sized or smaller friends
• 🛋️ People-oriented, loves cosy naps and affection
• 🏡 Adaptable and ready to bring joy to the right home

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
