Baxter was found walking the streets with no microchip and no owner could be found. Baxter’s character is typical of a pointer breed – super loyal, enthusiastic, boundless energy and sticks to you like glue! This handsome boy is confident and friendly with everyone he meets – he demands that you join in with his happy, joyful taste for life. A beautiful chocolate colour with tiny white specks, it looks like his tail has been dipped in white paint! Baxter walks well on the leash, enjoying sniffing and being outside. He would love to live with an active family, to go out exploring and then come home to cuddle up together on the sofa.

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
