ABLDR are dedicated to keeping dogs safe, healthy, and protected — while also safeguarding the health and bio-security of the UK when rescuing dogs from Eastern Europe.

🐾 Every dog rescued through ABLDR receives:

🐶 A full veterinary health check before travel
💉 Up-to-date vaccinations in line with UK import regulations
🔍 A registered microchip for lifelong identification
✂️ All dogs are sterilised before travelling to the UK, unless age or veterinary guidance advises otherwise
🛡️ Careful screening for diseases that could pose a risk in the UK

📘 Each dog is rehomed with:

🛂 EU Pet Passport – allowing legal travel between the UK and EU without additional health certificates
📖 Health Book – detailing all vaccinations, treatments, and medical history
📄 Import Certificate – confirming lawful and compliant entry into the UK
🎁 Welcome Pack (PDFs) – guidance on settling in, training, and supporting your dog through their transition

🩺 Brucella Canis Testing
All dogs are tested for Brucella canis, with samples analysed by the APHA laboratory in the UK to ensure accurate, traceable, and nationally recognised results.

🧬 SNAP 4Dx Disease Screening
Tests for heartworm, Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis — enabling early detection and treatment to protect other animals and the wider community.
