Mia, who looks like dachshund mix, was rescued from a severe hoarding situation in the city, where over 100 dogs were living in difficult conditions. Thanks to a collective effort by rescuers and animal welfare organisations, the dogs were safely taken out. Our rescuer’s team brought 20 of them into their care — and Mia was one of these lucky souls.
She was very skinny when she was found but her resilience shone through: now she is a very happy and affectionate puppy who loves everyone , people, dogs and cats.🦮🐈
Mia is one of the first dogs ready for adoption because of her sweet nature. She lives indoors alongside other dogs and cats and gets along beautifully with everyone. She is truly a little gem. 💛
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family.
