Meet Weston 🐾
Weston is a medium-sized boy (around 42 cm tall) with the most loving nature you could imagine. One of our rescuers heard about him from the vet at the public shelter after he was brought in by dog catchers from a nearby village. The vet told her he was beautiful and incredibly friendly… and they were absolutely right.
The moment she met him, she fell in love. He was playing happily with the other dogs in his kennel, but as soon as he saw her, he came straight over, gently placing his head into her hands for cuddles, his tail wagging non-stop. 🥰
Now safe at a private shelter, Weston continues to show what a special soul he is. He truly is a gem 💎 — he loves everyone he meets, has a calm and easy-going nature, and is always eager to please. His sweet personality makes him such a joy to be around.

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
