Axel is a small, sweet boy with a big heart. Born on 18.02.2023, he and his brother Argo sadly lost their owner. The remaining family members were unable to keep them, and although a kind neighbour tried to help, his large dog would not accept them. That’s when they came into our care.
Axel is now living safely in a private indoor foster home alongside many other dogs and cats. He has adjusted beautifully to his new environment and enjoys being part of a busy, loving household.
He is very friendly with people and welcomes visitors with a wagging tail. Axel is playful yet calm, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. He would thrive in a home where he can continue to receive love, attention, and companionship.
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family.
