Barry is a smart, sensitive boy with a heart of gold. He may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his loving and playful personality really shines ✨. This clever lad adores playing with toys and will happily reward your patience with genuine affection and loyalty.

Barry is looking for a home where he can be the only dog. Life in the shelter is a bit overwhelming for him, and he struggles to socialise with the other dogs there. A rural home would really suit Barry.  When it comes to people, he truly thrives with one-on-one attention, showing his intelligence and eagerness to learn 💛. At an agility class, Barry absolutely shone, picking up the exercises quickly and clearly enjoying himself 🏃‍♂️🎾.

With gentle encouragement and patient guidance, Barry will settle into family life and truly blossom. Shy dogs like Barry often become the most devoted companions once they feel safe—and he’s ready to give his whole heart to the right person 💕

Barry arrived at the shelter in early 2022 as a tiny three-month-old puppy after being rescued from a difficult start to life. Despite everything he’s been through, Barry has grown into a resilient, loving boy who’s still waiting for the happy ending he deserves 🐶💙
