Donut

Donut lived for years at a truck depot where trucks went for maintenance. Her life wasn’t all that bad, she was fed by everybody, one of the maintenance guys even took her to the vet and had her neutered. A few months ago,  a change happened….the man who mainly cared for her had to relocate with work and family and he couldn’t take her with him. He asked his colleagues to look after her but their commitment didn’t last long so the man called one of our rescuers and asked them to find her a family home. At nine years of age she is a golden oldie but she is still an active, lively, funny, friendly girl who is used to people, especially men,  as she met many at the garage. She loves her food and snacks so is a bit overweight at the moment. Despite her age, she loves a run in the garden and playing with the younger dogs in her current foster home.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
