Fonzie was found abandoned and brought to a veterinary clinic after his rescuer noticed a slight tremor. Upon examination, it was determined that he is a survivor of distemper. Following treatment with supportive nervous system vitamins, the tremor has completely resolved.
Fonzie’s current condition and temperament:
No remaining tremor following treatment
Mildly unusual gait in his back legs, which does not affect his quality of life
Comfortable, active, and unbothered by his movement
Exceptionally loving and affectionate
Friendly and good with everyone
Fonzie is a gentle, resilient boy who would make a wonderful companion in a caring home.
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family.
