Herby

Herby was an overlooked shelter dog who came to a uk home four months ago having never lived in a home. During this time she has made good progress but owing to a severe family medical emergency, which will be ongoing, we must look for a new home for Herby, through no fault of her own.

Herby is an incredibly sweet and loving girl who loves physical affection. She is well behaved and doesn’t jump up, steal or beg and hasn’t chewed anything she shouldn’t. She sleeps a lot but is also very playful. She only started going on walks in the last few weeks and this training will need to be continued.

Herby prefers women to men and hasn’t lived with cats or children and her integration into family living will need to be continued. We have detailed information about Herby’s behaviour, likes and dislikes which we will happily discuss with anyone who is interested in adopting Herby.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
