Izzy

We’d like to introduce you to Izzy, a lovely dog who’s waiting for her forever home.

Izzy gets along well with both male and female dogs. While she may be a bit hesitant around new people at first, she warms up quickly. Food is a big motivator for Izzy – she loves to eat and gets excited at mealtimes! However, she can be protective of her food bowl and may need to be fed separately until she feels secure.

Despite being a bit reserved at first, Izzy enjoys cuddles and affection once she feels comfortable. Her background is a bit rough – she was abandoned in a field and had to rely on the kindness of a stranger for food. Luckily, she was taken in by one of our rescuers. Izzy is a quiet and laid-back dog who would thrive in a peaceful countryside setting and enjoy plenty of love and company.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
