Milou was found in the centre of the city in a very poor condition and looked completely different from how he does today. At the time of his rescue, he was unwell, suffering from mange, with extensive hair loss and multiple wounds across his body.
Today, Milou’s transformation is remarkable:

All potential adopters are required to undergo a screening and home check process. This typically takes between 1–10 days, depending on the availability of volunteers to conduct the checks. Please note that all ABLDR volunteers are unpaid and carry out these checks in their spare time while managing regular daytime commitments.
We kindly ask for your patience during this process. Home checks are designed to protect both the dog and the adopter, ensuring the right match for your family and the dog’s well-being.
