Nea

When Nea came to her uk foster, she took about a week before she would come anywhere near the family, she would hide away in her safe crate looking scared. Now she has become an absolutely lovely affectionate girl with her two fosters but she needs to go to someone who understands this and will give her  time to adjust and not push her or invade her space before she’s ready. Once she came around,  she has turned into the happiest dog who loves a cuddle and to play. She is fine with one of the dogs she is living with, but doesn’t like the other one at all. For that reason we are looking for an adult only home with no other dogs or cats. In the house she’s really quiet and can happily be left in a crate or be left loose for a few hours. Also, she absolutely loves going out on walks. She is never going to be a fan of strangers so she needs a dog savvy adopter who knows how to work with this. Her ideal companion would be someone who leads a fairly quiet life but likes going on long walks or hikes!!!

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
