Bruna
A young man found four puppies abandoned on a field and called the shelter to take care of them. Bruna was one of those puppies. She grew up to be a beautiful black girl but sadly she has been overlooked ever since and has now been at the shelter for four years. We would love Bruna to find a family home where she can spend the rest of her life instead of living at the shelter. We are looking for a special family who will remember that Bruna has never lived in a home, has never known any other life than the shelter and will need to be given a lot of time and support readjusting to the new experience of living in a house. Bruna is a beautiful friendly girl who gets on with visitors and the other dogs in the shelter and enjoys a walk on the lead.
Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
