Sissy

Meet Sissy, a little sweetheart…

Sissy was left abandoned at a polling station on voting day but she was fortunate to have a kind-hearted committee member who took her under her wing. Despite hopes that someone would claim her at the ned of the day, Sissy remained unclaimed, and the animal lover eventually took her home. After weeks of searching for her forever family, the committee member eventually reached out to one of our rescue team for help.

Sissy is a bundle of joy! This playful, energetic pup loves everyone she meets and has a cheeky attitude to match. She’s fearless around larger dogs, treating them as equals, and her confidence is adorable. In her current rescue home, Sissy lives with five cats, and while she occasionally chases them in play, they don’t mind as they are used to dogs. Sissy’s ideal home might be better cat-free though, as sensitive cats might not appreciate her energy.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
