Al (Albino)

When Albino arrived at the shelter it was from a home where the owner was elderly and was in a situation where she could no longer care for him properly. Albino is a very sweet dog with all people and loves attention and cuddles. As he likes to protect his bed and food from other dogs, he will be best in a home as the only dog.

Good on the lead and well behaved in the car, Albino has been walked around the town, taken to a café and experienced a dog obedience class. He is a good dog and responds well to positive training – reward him with biscuits or cuddles and he will reward you with loyal friendship. Obviously Albino is a golden oldie but having spent his life so far in a home we don’t want him to live the rest of his life in a shelter. Perhaps some kind soul has a comfy settee or a cosy rug that has his name on it.

Description

All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
