Dyora
Dyora was brought to one of our rescuers by some homeless people who were living on the outskirts of the village. They wanted them to help spay her. They saw she was limping and had a crooked front leg. They told them she was hit by a car some months ago. Our rescuers took her to the vet, he said it was too late to do anything about it. It was most likely an elbow injury that healed slightly wrong. If she had been taken to a vet earlier, it might have been fixed with surgery but other than a slight limp it doesn’t bother her. Thankfully, Dyora was left with our rescuers to find her another more caring family. She is very calm, docile and friendly. She loves people, walks nicely on the lead and gets along with the other dogs and cats in the home.
Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
