Eva
Eva was found heavily pregnant. She was taken to the shelter where she, almost immediately, gave birth to two sweet puppies. Now they have been adopted, we are looking for a home for Eva. She is a pretty girl who gets on well with the other dogs at the shelter. When she was with her puppies she was a very anxious, but now she is not with them she is really coming out of her shell and learning to walk on the lead. We think she possibly has some Romanian shepherd and/or border collie in her background so we would like to find her an adopter who has experience of similar breeds and who will continue to work at socialising Eva and improving her confidence because she is still a little nervous of strangers. It is likely that Eva has never lived in a house so she will need a dog savvy adopter who will give her the time and patience needed to get used to living in a family home and all the new experiences that entails.
Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
