Ludo (Ludovic)
IN FOSTER IN THE UK
Ludo (Ludovic) came over from Romania, a few months ago, with a glowing report – a very gentle boy who got on really well with people and other dogs. Unfortunately, he didn’t cope well with moving from a quiet rural area of Romania to a busy town centre with lots of cars and noise and a resident dog that didn’t like him. He found it very overwhelming and unsettling.
He is a gorgeous boy – loves to lay on his back for a belly rub. He’s playful and will chase a ball – won’t bring it back yet lol. Outside Ludo has been fine on walks, but needs some further training.
At the moment, Ludo is currently in foster with our dog trainer where he is living very comfortably with 7 other dogs. He’s a bit of a loner but seems to prefer the small dogs… Ludo loves his food and even though he is fine with people near his food bowl, he guards it from the other dogs so is being fed separately.
Although we would consider a home for Ludo with a calm, gentle female, ideally we think Ludo would enjoy a home as an only dog ( he loves human attention) – without any distractions – no children, cats, other dogs – in a fairly quiet location where he can go for a gentle, peaceful walk which he loves.

Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
