Obi
For foster or adoption: Obi – medium – 16 months – IN THE UK
Obi was brought up in a shelter from being a puppy. He is unsure how to behave in a family home and is a bit overwhelmed by it all so needs to live with a family who have some experience of dogs. At the moment he is guarding toys. Outside the house, his behaviour is much better – he walks on the lead and is respectful of other dogs – quite submissive to them in fact. He is a real foodie so we feel he will train easily once he is given some boundaries. Obi has been assessed and his assessor thinks he has the potential to be a really lovely dog. Obi cannot with children or cats but could live with an older dog who would be a good role model.

Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
