Ted
Gorgeous Ted (look at that face!) is a people lover – happy to meet any visitors, male or female. Ted loves to be close to someone, happily follows you around all day and cuddles up with you on the sofa in the evenings. He enjoys his walks and toddles along beautifully beside you wagging his tail until he gets tired and slows down after about 20 mins. He ignores people walking by and is ok with small dogs when out although he can be reactive towards big dogs. Once he grows to love you he is a loyal little chap, who likes to be with you and is good company. He is a stocky little boy, with little Queen Anne legs and a slight but very endearing underbite. At the moment he is a little overweight, but his foster carer is still working on this. He doesn’t really play with the foster carer’s dogs and as it took him a while to relax around them initially we feel he would be happier in a quiet adult home as an only dog. He is a cute little chap who enjoys his own company and likes playing with his toys. A super companion dog!
Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
