Zippy
ZIPPY NEEDS YOUR HELP URGENTLY
Zippy was knocked down by a car and found by some local people who contacted one of our rescuers. He was cold, crying with pain and had wounds on his back legs. He was taken to the vets where he was given a CT scan and found to have a damaged spine and would never be able use his back legs again.
That, however, was not going to be the end of the road for Zippy. This little man is only three years old. Many dogs lead really happy lives using wheelchairs and that is our goal for Zippy.
We would like to raise enough money to buy him a hind leg wheelchair and a drag bag so he can be comfortable moving around indoors. Also perhaps enough to pay for the ct scan and any treatment he needs initially. (Please note the dog in the drag bag is not Zippy)
CAN YOU HELP US RAISE £100? This is the minimum we need. Anything more than that would be an amazing help for his rescuers who have a home run shelter for dogs.

Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you. We aim to contact all new adoption applications within 48 hours. (Initial contact may be made by email, so please check your email junk folder)
