Perola
Perola was born in a municipal shelter and knew no other life until she was rescued by a private shelter a couple of years later. For much of her time, she was very dependent on her mother, staying close by her side for security and comfort. The rescue made the decision to separate them for Perola’s benefit so she would gain confidence and self reliance. In fact, Perola has adjusted wonderfully to becoming more independent. Having spent her entire life in a shelter environment, Perola is still learning about the wider world. This sweetheart weighs around 14 kg is a lovely dog with a gentle nature and a beauty that catches the eye. While she may be reserved at first, her true personality is gradually emerging, revealing a dog with so much love to give to the right family. What Perola needs now is a patient, understanding home with a calm environment where she can continue to build her confidence. With gentle guidance and consistent love, this special girl will come into her own and reward your patience with unwavering loyalty and affection.
Description
All potential adopters will have to undergo a screening and home check process. This can take between 1-10 days dependant on available volunteers to perform your home check. All volunteers for ABLDR are unpaid and do this in their spare time whilst also holding down regular daytime jobs. Please be patient whilst we complete these checks. They are set to protect not only the dog but also you, the adopter, from adopting the wrong dog for your family. If you wish to adopt one of our lovely dogs, please fill in an Adoption Application form and one of our adoption team will be in contact with you.
